Kitchen, Belfast

Our client wanted a kitchen that celebrated their love of found, salvaged and reclaimed pieces while maximising storage and counter space. We wanted our design to showcase a range of salvaged materials while honouring this beautiful period property located on the outskirts of Belfast. We always find great joy in routing through our collection of abandoned items, vintage pieces and raw wood to create something that brings beauty and authenticity to a space. We incorporated distressed steel, original butchers block and timber worktops made from old chemistry lab tables into the design of the kitchen. A vintage Putnam rolling ladder provided inspiration for the open design of the pantry. Combining a utility and larder, the wood and detailing continues the industrial beauty of the kitchen into this functional space. The true heart of this home, the space is fun and inviting, allowing the family’s characterful collection to take pride of place.
