Although a traditional palette of Oak and Marble has been used in this kitchen fit out, the contemporary way in which these materials have been applied creates a look that is at one current yet timeless, fresh yet familiar, an attitude that the client has successfully carried throughout the home.  A dark grey was selected to create a stark backdrop for the monolithic slab of Carrara Marble, which forms the island, this beautiful piece of natural stone has been mitred to create a truly seamless look.  The back run is punctured with pockets of pippy oak shelving and finished with a brushed stainless steel worktop bringing a sharpness to the space with cut out handles decorating the otherwise simple design​
