Taboø is a daring donut boutique with a distinctive attitude apparent in its donuts and design. The client approached us early in the process, before they had decided on a name, allowing us to get involved in the direction the branding took as well as the interior. Our brief was to create an interior suitable for a high end donut offering and this slightly risqué brand led us on an exciting journey. We wanted to push the boundaries of a normal donut shop and created a retail space that elevated the donuts. This created something unique and allowed the materials, colours and textures to follow suit. We have taken Taboø from a single store to an entire brand identity through careful design and execution. Its success has allowed us to replicate the brand through various retail outputs, including displays for shows, kiosks and multiple stores.
