A fourth generation business, Sam’s Barber are still very much a traditional barber, a quick cut or hot towel shave, grooming products and even a cup of coffee. TERRY designed and fitted a multi-functional space that reflected the rich history of the business and created a welcoming atmosphere. We took inspiration from three backdrops of the early 20th century: The classic barber shop; the apothecary and; the gentleman’s club. Marrying these styles allowed us to create seamless spaces for each element of the business. The fit out included a masculine material palette complemented by marble worktops, antiqued mirror and traditional Belfast sinks at the grooming stations. Red leather grooming chairs, ribbed glass shades and bronze detailing pays homage to the golden age of barbering.
